OUR REFERRAL!!!!

I have such EXCITING news to share.

After 45 months and 8 days of waiting we received a referral 

for a gorgeous 7 month old baby girl!

Needless to say we are beyond excited. 

We got The Call two weeks ago and yet after such a long wait it still seems surreal. 

Obviously we are very eager to get our girl home. Unfortunately the process is still complicated and long. We were told to expect it to take at least 6-8 months. 

But will you join us in praying for a miracle? 

Pray that we will be united as a family much sooner.

That her paperwork will be gathered and processed quickly. That we will find favor with all the officials that work on our case. That our girl will come home (or at the very least be held by her Mama and Daddy) before her first birthday. 

The four plus years of waiting where hard but this is much harder. We are all so in love with her already. RJ is a proud Papa talking about her all the time. I must stare at her little picture at least once an hour (I desperately wish I could share it with you but I can't until we pass court.) Landon shared the news with his class the very day after we shared it with him. And he insisted in being involved with preparing her first care package - even choosing her outfits himself. Parker is completely clueless as to what is going on but he does recognize her picture when he sees it. To him she's just the "pretty baby."

There were days I thought that we would never get to this stage.

There are days still when I panic that we will never get her home.

But in this movements the Lord is so good to comfort me.

He is so FAITHFUL.

We are praising Him for this beautiful baby girl who is soon to be ours forever.
