I'm starting to understand why so many women's magazines address exhaustion, finding time for one's self, and laundry piles. It seems lately that someone stuck me inside a giant hamster ball and Im whirling around with no way out.
'Tis the season.
But I'm about to bare my teeth and gnaw my way free from this spherical bubble of continual motion. One of the reasons I've been so busy is that I'm prepping for December. My boys are getting to the age where Christmas really is magical and I want to enjoy it with them to the fullest. So I've been shopping early and am nearly done already. I'm also prepping Advent activities, planning parties, and figuring out menus. All on top of swimming lessons, preschool, Gymboree, play dates, book club and Thanksgiving cooking.
Basically, I'm just trying to tell you sorry for the pathetic blog posts lately. Mama just can't do it all. Plus, I need a few extra minutes to myself - you know - to watch New Girl and cheer on my favorites on The Voice (which, turns out, is much better than X Factor).

I think all (honest) moms feel this way. Enjoy your time with your family! Oh, and I waited so long to do laundry that Isla is out of pjs and I am out of socks...it looks like it will be a laundry day for me today ;)
