Friday Favorites (on Saturday) - Outside Fun

I always love suggestions for good toys. Sometimes what I think my kids will love they only play with once, and the toys I might have passed over in the store is the one they play with constantly.

So with Christmas just around the corner I thought I would start sharing with you some of my kids favorite toys. Starting with the things they've consistently played with in our backyard:

-- Our yard isn't huge so we got the boys a small Trampoline (Bazoongi 48" Bouncer in Red. Special Exclusive Limited Edition). Parker is particularly enamored with it and will jump outside by himself for long stretches of time.

-- Both boys love thier T-Ball Tee (Macgregor Batting Tee). I got a big box of wiffle balls on amazon for a great price and they hit the things all over the yard.

-- Landon got this great Basketball Hoop (Fisher-Price I Can Play Basketball) from his grandparents a few years ago. I love that it's adjustable for years of fun. This past summer we've had countless shooting competitions. Parker loves being picked up to slam-dunk too.

-- Every young boys needs a Tricycle (Radio Flyer Classic Red 10" Tricycle with Push Handle). Landon loved it and Parker has recently discovered it. He can't reach the peddles yet but I can push him around while he yells, "Wheeee!!!".

-- My parents have a Water and Sand Table (Radio Flyer Shockwave, Red Step2 Play Up Adjustable Sand Water Table) and their house for the boys. Both boys can play together and have a great time. Most of my friends have one of these - they keep the kids entertained for a good stretch of time!

-- We also have two Radio Flyer Scooters (Radio Flyer Shockwave, Red). Landon's currently riding the two-wheeled version and Parker will be zipping along on the three-wheeler before long. I highly recommend scooters for little boys. They're great energy burners!

-- Landon's has never been much of a digger/dirt-lover but Parker sure is. He found these Garden Tools (Toysmith 2296 Kid's 3-Piece Garden Tool Set) in our yard and immediately claimed them as his. They're perfect for little hands, well constructed, and a great price.

-- And finally, the Stomp Rocket (D&L Company Ultra Stomp Rocket) is wonderful fun for the whole family. They're easy to use and fly surprisingly well. Makes a great gift for birthday parties and nephews and nieces!

Coming in the next few weeks - Landon's Wish List (toys for boys ages 4-5) and Parker's Wish List (boys 18 months - 2).
