-- Mom's costume from Halloween
Chicken Cordon Bleu!
Clever lady

-- Every year RJ and I watch Jimmy Kimmel's "I Told My Kid's I Ate All Their Halloween Candy" video. And every year we just can't get over how mean it is.
But we laugh anyway.

-- I'm already about 50 percent done with my Christmas shopping!!! I think this is a combination of the fact that I really like buying people things , I'm trying desperately to be more organized, and on-line shopping is such a breeze. What did mother's do before online shopping?!

-- I'm currently reading A Game of Thrones. I'm having a difficult time getting into it but I'm determined to see it through to the end.

-- Since American Idol started ten years ago I've never watched any singing (or dancing) competition shows, but I've found myself totally hooked on The X-Factor this season. (I know The Voice is supposed to be better but somehow, despite the cheesiness, X-Factor has sucked me in.) My favorites are Jeff Gutt, Khaya Cohen, Tim Olstad, Alex & Sierra, and despite them being a decade+ younger than me I'm ready to buy every album and every show for Restless Road. I also really want to be friends with Kelly Rowland.

-- In the past month I've had three people tell me they really like the name "Parker" for a girl. I don't necessarily find it insulting but I also don't really know what to say in response....

-- We finally got our family photo session booked for this year and I'm so excited.

-- I don't really think running with the number 666 on her bib would have started the apocalypse, or even cost this gal the race, but I do love that there are high schoolers with such strong convictions.

-- We turned our garden over two weeks ago and I'm excited for broccoli and beets

-- If you don't already you should follow Two Cent Sparrow on Instagram. It's full of too-cute photos and darling videos of my boys dancing.
