Lamentations 3:22-23
I woke up early this morning (a rare feat in my world) excited to have a new day.

Yesterday was one of those days.
The kind filled with whining, complaining, crying, impatience, bad attitudes, etc.
At one point during the day I had to actually wrestle Landon into an embrace just to get him to calm down.
Even better is that this match went down in public.
While Parker cried hysterically nearby.
It wasn't at all embarrassing.

But I was so excited to get up this morning while it was still quiet.
Enjoy my coffee in peace and read my Bible without interruption.

There is something wonderful about a new day.

And I'm so happy to report that today is going much, much better.

Know you are not alone in the embarrassing public parenting arena. Let's just say I provided free "birth control" for an entire Starbucks the other day...Isla took down an entire display, stuff everywhere and some of the packages burst open and Connor started eating the open product off the floor. It was awesome.

Someone recently told me something I thought was cool. Let your 10 fingers remind you to say "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." 10 words, get it? I probably didn't need to explain that, but when I am having a rough day, I think of my fingers and say those 10 words.
