The Sweetness of Home

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Lake Tahoe.
It was so nice to get out of town for a few days, see family
members, see real trees (palms really shouldn't be classified as trees),
spend some time hiking, throw in the fishing line, hit up the mini-golf course,
have an unexpected reunion, soak in a wood-burning hot tub, and just veg-out.

But, however much I enjoy traveling.
And I enjoy it ALOT.
I love coming back home.
It's so fun to get the mail.
Check out the veggie garden.
Greet my overly exuberant dog.
Sleep in my own bed.
Wear clean clothes. (RJ severely restricts my travel packing.)
And return to my blog buddies.

Hi! Just read your comment on my blog... and funny because during summer fashion week I always looked forward to seeing your outfits! You should've said hi at the Elks pool! Shoot. Nice to meet you though! Even though it's not in person:) Glad you had fun in Tahoe.

@ Ryan & Camille --- I was going to mention the "wood burning hot tub" as well.
I think we call that a cauldron, and I immediately have images of Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny running through my head... "then, we'll make carrot soup!"
