Landon had his first real food yesterday (excluding the tiny bite of ice cream RJ gave him on Saturday. I've never seen the child smile so big!).

He got zucchini. Not the most exciting food on the planet, but I'm a big proponent of greens. I'm thinking that if he starts with greens he'll love them for the rest of his life. Here's to hoping!

Yay for greens! I can't believe how big he's getting...So are you making his baby food?

Yeah. I am also trying to grow most of the veggies he eats in our garden. I borrowed my friends BabyCook to make the food - it is the most amazing gadget ever!

maybe if you mix it with ice cream, then he'll love it!

I love the second picture where Landon has this shocked look on his face...like he's still trying to process whether or not he likes the food. Too cute!

yumm, yumm, lucky Landon. the zucchini looks delicious! What tasty vegetable are you going to try after this one? What ever he samples from now on will never surpass the excitement of that ice-cream.
Great pictures esp the second one.
