After all the excitement and adventuring last weekend it was nice to have some mellow time at home.
We enjoyed pizza and S'mores with friends on Friday, a quiet family day on Saturday, and church and a bike ride to town on Sunday.
As much as we love to constantly be on the go it's good to have intentional, quiet, family time at home too. My kids need it, my husband needs it and I need it.
I only wish I had a better book to enjoy during the down-time.
I finished the Divergent Series and Wild last week so I'm looking for new suggestions.
Anyone???

Glad you got some good family time in this weekend. Since our daughter was born in September, quiet family weekends at home are something we need more than ever.
As for books, I really enjoyed 'Life after Life' by Kate Atkinson (historical fiction, sort of). And I'm a huge fan of Rainbow Rowell. I loved 'Eleanor & Park' and really liked her other two books, 'Attachments' and 'Fangirl'. Happy reading. :)
