9 YEARS

RJ and I had a couple of hours to kill in the airport on Sunday thanks to a layover in San Francisco (we buy cheap flights). By this point we had been together for four days without any kids and quite honestly, we had pretty much ran out of things to talk about. So I had the brilliant idea of busting open my Pinterst app and making RJ play a  game of random questions with me. Normally he hates this kind of stuff but I did manage to get him to answer a few. So in honor of our 9th wedding anniversary I'll share with you some lesser know things about us:

If you could have any superpower what would it be and why:

RJ: The ability to shrink really small or grow really big. I would especially want to shrink really small so that when the waves are bad I can shrink down and then they'll seem big to me and I can surf all alone on a mini-board.

If you could reenact any scene from a movie what would it be?

RJ: Pretty much any scene from The Notebook (I think he was trying to win points with me here but I'm not entirely convinced.)

Who was your childhood celebrity crush?

RJ: Jessica Rabbit
Anna: JTT. I was so in love I brought a framed photo of him to 6th grade camp to leave next to my bunk

What is the proudest moment in your life so far?

RJ: When Landon's head popped out   (so eloquently put, babe!)
Anna: The birth of our children

If you could only have one word written on your tombstone what would it be?

Anna: Funnest  (I do realize that isn't a real word. That's part of the charm.)

What are your top three favorite desserts:

RJ: ice cream, cream brulee, tres leches cake
Anna: ice cream, pie, good chocolate cake

If you were made king/queen of the nation what's the first thing you would do?

Anna: Declare a national day in my honor. With another fun holiday and day off work everyone would instantly love me. We would celebrate by eating my three favorite desserts and doing all my favorite things.

At this point we had to stop because we nearly missed our plane we got so caught up in our answers.

But what I really loved about this exercise is that I had to dig to find questions I didn't immediately know the answers too. Most lists of questions I could have answered 90% of them for RJ. After 9 years together there is very little I don't know (and love) about this man!  He's my match.

XO, Babe! And Happy 32nd Birthday too!

This is a darling, entertaining, and enlightening post ;) I read it to Ryan and we had a good laugh. P.S. Ryan said everything in Ali's room was JTT down to her lamp shade! Lol
