It was so nice to be home for the long weekend. Although we were "mellow" we still packed in all kinds of fun:
- Friday the kids and I hike with a friend and enjoyed gorgeous views
- we stuff ourselves on cupcakes and donuts at a Friday afternoon birthday party and a Saturday morning birthday brunch
- there were dinners with good friends and fun BBQs
- we squeezed in some beach time and Mama got to surf! (And Parker bolted straight into the water every chance he got)
- RJ took out an old tree and built us a beautiful new raised planter bed. With a total of three beds now we're running our own Farmer's Market around here: tomatoes, melons, squash, peppers, greens, lettuce, corn, beans, peas, onions, herbs, etc.
