Little Blue Truck Leads the Way board book - Baby Sparrow is getting a new Little Blue Truck book in his Easter Basket (books in Easter Baskets is a family tradition that I grew up with). My friend Debra introduced us to The Little Blue truck and my boys love him.

Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs: As Retold by Mo Willems - Big Brother Sparrow will find this new Mo Willems book in his basket Sunday morning. Jess and Matthew lead us to books by Mo Willems at Christmas time and we can't get enough of them. The Elephant & Piggie books are absolutely wonderful.


The Name of the Star (The Shades of London) - Mama Sparrow loves book club because she finds herself exposed to new genres, authors and series than she might not reach for on her own. This is a science fiction young adult novel that takes place in London and has a Jack the Ripper twist (literally). It was an easy read and actually very enjoyable.

There Is No Me Without You: One Woman's Odyssey to Rescue Her Country's Children  - Papa Sparrow finally gave in to Mama's pleas and read There Is No Me Without You. Sure enough, he loved it. Want to have your heart broken and your hope restored all while falling in love with Ethiopia? This is the book for you.
