Black is a bit sliming, but you can see our boy is getting big. He should be ready to come out today but I think he really likes it in there. I've really enjoyed my pregnancy - until about 3-4 days ago when time started standing still. Now I just want to meet my son! And tie my own shoes, shave my legs, drink a beer, eat sushi, wear my jeans, go in a hot tub, eat raw cookie dough, have a glass of wine with dinner, sleep on my back or tummy, and walk without looking like a penguin! 
Our friends Blair and Michelle had an 80s party the other night. Thankfully you can still pull off an 80s look with a basketball tummy. 
RJ and I got to see our son on Monday. The doc was a tiny worried b/c my external measurements were small so we went in for an ultrasound. He is perfect and measuring exacting 40 weeks today! They're also estimating him to be a normal size - between 7 and 8 pounds (He better come out soon b/c I don't want to squeeze out a 9 pounder!). You can tell by my weepy eyes and RJ's big grin that we were pretty excited baby Hosking checked out okay. Praise the Lord! The ultrasound technician also confirmed that he most definitely is a boy and we got to see most of his inside parts. His heart was pumping strong, lungs were taking practice breaths, liver looked good, etc. Now we just wait....

yep, you look ready to have a baby alright! I hope you enjoy every moment of quiet, without baby, and when its time, you enjoy every anxious moment of labor and delivery. Good luck!

The day I was due with Jason, I went to see Star Wars with Patrick. We kept walking around the theater... didn't help. People in the theater wanted to know when I was due and it made them so nervous to hear it was that day. Funny. He didn't come for 5 more days... yes time does stand still.
But it will happen!! Can't wait to see pics of your new little boy! :)
You look adorable! You may not feel it, but you really do. Glad to hear everything is going well...and I can't wait to see pictures of baby Hosking!
