The redwoods are majestically beautiful and the campsite lovely, but overall this stop hasn't been our favorite. You just can't win them all. The river is so low it's more like a warm water pond- complete with green algae. But we still had fun doing some hiking, enjoying downtime at camp and meeting new friends (Landon - who literally stalks other kids in the campgrounds. He will find a cluster of them near us and just hang out on the periphery, slowly inching forward, until they notice him (he's right in their faces) and they invite him to play.
