Day 11 - Jedediah Smith and Oregon

Thursday, August 23, 2012

The Jedediah Smith National Park is one of the prettiest campgrounds either RJ or I has ever seen. The Smith River flowed peacefully through the area looking like a fly fishermans paradise (or so I was told). Unfortunately for us it's beauty makes it pretty popular and the only way we would have been able to stay two nights would have been to switch campsites (not the easiest with the tent trailer). As much as we would have both loved to have stayed longer the fish weren't biting, the camp siting moving wasn't very appealing, and Parker was down to his last onsie - so we decided to hit the road again and bust up to my aunts beach house in Coos Bay, Oregon.

It's not a shabby place to rest ones head after a week of camping.

(the house itself and a sunset view from the balcony)
